Hey Y’all! My name is Dr. Jennifer and I am from a small town in Louisiana. Growing up I played softball and learning to hunt and fish. I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2012. After graduating, we moved to Dallas, Texas where I attended Parker Chiropractic College and I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April, 2017. While in school, I attended seminars and completed certifications that allow me to better care for pregnant women and children through ICPA.

True Lux Chiropractic was created after I took a small break to be with my family but realized that I wanted something so much more. My true passion is helping others realize their true health and potential and I believe that this is what I was meant to do.

Why True Lux? To be true means to be authentic or genuine. I want each and everyone to be able to express their authentic expression of health through allowing their nervous system to communicate properly and function at its optimum ability. Lux means to illuminate or lighten. Our nervous system is our lifeline and when there are misalignments it interferes with the energy or “light” within the body.

I feel truly blessed to serve my friends and community in my own unique way and be able to assist and observe others as they find their true health.

Hi! My name is Dr. Abby and I am originally from California but have lived in Dallas since I was 6 years old. I received my undergraduate degree in Healthcare Studies from UT Dallas and then began my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Parker University in 2019 one week before graduating from my undergrad. Shortly after completing my doctorate I attended seminars to complete my Webster certification. I am bilingual, English and Spanish, and very excited to bring that into practice here at True Lux!

I originally planned to attend medical school until my mom and I became Dr. Jennifer’s patients and I saw just how powerful and healing chiropractic is. I was intrigued and started looking into chiropractic, decided to tour Parker and the rest is history.

Outside of the office, I enjoy playing soccer, woodworking, spending time with family and friends, and loving on my niece and nephew.

I am so excited to be part of the True Lux family, getting to meet patients and be of loving service to the patients!
